Air Tech of Humble Recognized by White House for Pledge to America’s Workers

Humble HVAC Company Pledges to Provide Educational and Career Opportunities for Workers

Humble, TX, January 29, 2020 – The White House recognized The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) organization and Humble-based HVAC company, Air Tech of Humble Home and Commercial Services for their commitment to creating educational and re-skilling programs for American workers. Since signing the Pledge to America’s Workers, Air Tech of Humble has provided opportunities for continued education and career advancement opportunities for their employees.

As a crucial part of the National Council for the American Worker, the White House recently created a pledge for trade vocations and companies, asking them to sign their commitment to expanding educational programs for American workers from high school to near-retirement age. Since then, over 14 million new opportunities have been pledged by companies across the country, including Air Tech of Humble.

About the pledge, whitehouse.gov “calls upon employers large and small to join this crucial initiative to create more jobs, strengthen our economy, and restore hopeful futures to countless families.” Other pledging companies include Amazon, Home Depot, FedEx, Nissan and more.

Regarding their pledge to the country’s economy, Air Tech of Humble Owner Chris Avirett, said “We were excited to make such a strong commitment to bettering workers in the HVAC trade. We’ve been in the industry for a long time, and know just how important passing on our knowledge is. We can’t wait to see what this pledge does to create more opportunities in our community and for heating and cooling as a whole.” Avirett also commented on how great it felt to be recognized by the Trump administration on such a large scale.
